Nestlé Scholarship Foundation Announces 2011 Scholarship Recipient
(FLORHAM PARK, New Jersey) – September 1, 2011 – Lea Finder of Manchester, MO has been selected from 99 applicants to receive a $3,000 Nestlé Nutrition Scholarship award, renewable for three years, from the Nestlé Scholarship Foundation. Nestlé Nutrition Scholarships are awarded each year to outstanding high school seniors who plan to attend college and college undergraduates enrolled at an accredited college, university or vocational-technical school. Students are eligible to apply for this scholarship if at least one parent is employed by Nestlé Nutrition or one of its subsidiaries.

Lea Finder is a 2011 graduate of Parkway South High School and plans to attend John Brown University in the fall as an Elementary Education major. She is the daughter of Michael and Sophia Finder. Sophia Finder is a Nestlé Nutrition employee in St. Louis, MO.
Nestlé Nutrition Scholars are chosen by Scholarship America based on their leadership activities, academic performance, honors and awards, work experience, statement of career and educational aspirations and goals, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal.
This year’s Nestlé Nutrition Scholarship recipients also include Courtney Wasko of Mountainburg, AR, Andrea DeMars of Eau Claire, WI, and Kristen Stiefel and Joseph Sterritt of Twin Lake, MI.
